Global Network of Women in Tech, Ada’s List, announces their 5th Annual Conference

Hackney, London, U.K: Ada’s List have announced their 5th Annual Conf, which will be taking place virtually next Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th October from 3pm-7pm on each day.

The conference will feature keynotes, talks and workshops by Ada’s List members who will share their stories of innovation and change, and reflect on how they are changing communities, workplaces, and their industry.

People from all over the world will join to hear Martha Lane Fox discuss the role of government in a post-COVID world, Ada’s List CEO Merici Vinton, Khaleelah Jones, and more - the full lineup can be accessed here

Merici Vinton, CEO and Co-Founder of Ada’s List says:

“Since its launch on Ada Lovelace Day 2013, Ada’s List has always been about action. This year, we are thrilled to have Baroness Martha Lane Fox join us to discuss ways to identify ways to ensure that the technology sector emerges from COVID not only stronger, but also more equitable for women and people of colour. Also, as a non-profit, COVID has had an impact on our finances, just like everyone else’s. The fact that our members and allies are paying for our Conf demonstrates not only the value of the content we’re providing, but also the strong support they have for our collective mission.”

Martha Lane Fox, Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho and the Chair of the House of Lords Covid-19 Committee, says:

As a long time member of Ada's List, I've always been proud to support the work they do to make a more equitable tech sector in the UK and globally. I'm honoured to speak at the 2020 Conf and look forward to hearing from the brilliant women on the panel about how we can best position the UK tech sector coming out of COVID.

Kelly Earle, Head of Comms & Marketing from FutureGov, a 5-time sponsor says:

We’re proud to continue supporting Ada’s List Conf for the 5th year. Many of our employees, of all genders, have attended year after year and always return energised and enthused for what’s next. Year round, we use Ada’s List as a source of recruitment for great women candidates - we’re big fans of Ada’s List, their Conf, and their Jobs Channel.”
