We're excited to be partnering with KFC as they expand their initiatives with diversity, equity and inclusion in the tech space. KFC is collaborating with us in order to hire more women in tech roles within their teams. We’ll be sharing jobs from KFC with the Ada’s List community over the next few months.

Ada’s List is a global platform for women in technology, and is the largest community for women in tech in Europe. We exist to make women in technology stronger as individuals and as a community, and a big part of that work is driving the conversation about inclusivity across all areas of tech, and challenging the sector at all levels, whether that be a small startup or a large company.  We focus on three pillars: careers, companies and culture, to make tangible changes in the global tech community.

Do you have a passion for application user ability with an analytical mind for programming? Then this could be a great role for you!

At KFC, you will work in an agile, cross discipline team that believes in customer focus, continuous delivery and continuous improvement. Lead and Mid Integrations Developer (NodeJS, Serverless)

Think you can only buy our chicken in-store at our restaurants?! Think again!  We’ve created a fast, simple omni-channel experience to help people order, whether that be through the app, website, our third parties (Deliveroo, JustEat, UberEats etc) or our in-house kiosks and there’s more to come so we need someone to help drive these developments and keep everything ticking.

We use Node.js within a serverless framework and we’re happy to support you with any additional training to help you succeed. For our Lead role, it’s a great opportunity for someone to step up and guide the team’s direction and for our mid level, we’re looking for a capable engineer with aptitude, as opposed to a long wish list, and we’re happy to support with additional training to help you succeed.

We use a React based front-end website with a Drupal CMS (v8 and headless) within a serverless framework.  Whilst we know there are people out there with all these skills, we’re looking for someone with either strong Drupal or React skills, who want to learn, and we’re happy to help support that training.  For our Lead role, it’s a great opportunity for someone to step up and guide the team’s direction and for our mid level, we’re looking for a capable engineer with aptitude. This is a great opportunity to build responsive websites and apps, integrate with APIs and use open source packages and code libraries.

Lead Automation QA

We want everything that’s built to not only be fit for purpose but work well so we test everything rigorously.  We currently use a mix of manual and automation testing but we’re looking to drive more automation across all parts of the business and need the Lead to feel comfortable in helping to change ways of working as well as be hands on in the testing.

We use a lot of different Testing tools so are quite open in what your experience is with but some key tools for us include
