Over the last two years, we have seen a number of positive steps made towards gender diversity with remote work presenting another encouraging change as we have seen gender equality being improved among teams that work remotely. However, with all the progress achieved there are still many things that need to be improved in order to reach true gender equality.

Dr. Patricia Gestoso - one of our Ada's List Contributors for the 2021 Women in Tech Report. Patricia is a long time member of Ada's List and is Head of Scientific Customer Support at BIOVIA and 2020 Women in Software Changemakers Winner. Patricia was also a speaker at our Annual 2020 Ada's List Conf.

Tim Campbell MBE. Tim was the first winner of the BBC TV show The Apprentice and has been described as the ‘human face of business’. Tim is a small business advocate, youth talent ambassador and a passionate believer in the transformative power of education and commerce.

Claire Hatcher - Head of Business Development, Kaspersky Fraud Prevention. Claire has worked in cybersecurity for over 15 years, specialising in fraud prevention for the past decade. She joined Kaspersky in 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA. Her strong ties to the financial services sector, online retailers and other industries give her a deep understanding of how fraud threats and trends emerge, develop, and evolve.

Anjali Ramachandran, moderator. Anjali has a background in digital media, strategy and innovation, and is a Director at content strategy and production studio Storythings. She is passionate about diversity, equality and inclusion and is a co-founder of Ada's List. She also writes the Other Valleys newsletter looking at creative and tech-related news from emerging markets. She has worked across India, the US and UK.
