Ada Ventures’ aim is to be the most inclusive fund in Europe. They will invest capital in talented, ambitious founders who have been unable to access capital historically. They are looking to increase their presence in communities that have a large diverse, female/n/b community. Check out some of Ada Venture’s already existing investments in this space:
Over the following year, Ada’s List and Ada Ventures will embark on a one year partnership to help get more diverse applicants into the Ada Ventures pitch pool. And Ada’s List Co-Founder and CEO, Merici, will start serving as a scout for Ada Ventures. The Ada Venture’s scout network is made up of 50 individuals who lead (or are involved in) an underrepresented community in the UK. They play a crucial role in providing access to diverse and overlooked founders.
Our first event with them is during Ada Lovelace week - on Tuesday, October 13th. Join Check Warner, Partner at Ada Ventures, who will be answering your questions and sharing insights on the fundraising process.
This event is open to anyone wanting to learn more about fundraising - from first time founders, through to more experienced founders. We’ll be capping the event at 25 people, so sign up here!
All attendees will also receive an exclusive invite to Ada’s annual conference, AdaCon, that evening - Ada Ventures’ annual meeting of investors, scouts, and community leaders.
