This evening, a few of us Ada’s Listers will be at the screening of Girl Rising, a film that is now a movement. It tracks the lives of nine girls across the world, their strength of spirit and the power of education. It’s sold out, but if you’re coming do let us know by tweeting us @adaslist and we’ll let you know about a pre-film gathering. 

As importantly, however, is the fact that this screening is a part of Collaborate Women And Girls, a platform that aims to increase the visibility and quality of life of women and girls. They do this by arranging film screenings, events and aggregating information about organisations that are doing impressive work in the field, to encourage volunteering, donations, impact investing and advocacy.
