Representation is such a huge deal. I can’t know that women of color get promoted in engineering in this industry. I can’t know that a woman of color can be an senior vice president of engineering because there are none. I don’t know any women of color that are director or above. Plenty are in nontechnical roles, but not one in a technical role.
